Straw

Straw

Straw - dry stems of plants, as a rule, exempt from the leaves, flowers and seeds. Straw for transportation, storage and further use is pressed by special machines in rolls or bales. By sustenance it’s considerably inferior to the hay. Straw contains almost no vitamins, she poor proteins (2 - 4%), fats (1 - 2%) mineral salts. Only indigestible fiber (32 - 40%) is many in the straw, which significantly reduces the value of straw as fodder culture. Therefore, the straw is almost a waste of agricultural production (crop production). Since in the production of one ton of grain is formed from 1.5 tons (barley) to 2.4 tons (corn) straw, the total quantity of waste in the straw form in the country becomes huge. So in the south regions of Russia: Krasnodar territory, the Rostov region annually are produce up to 3 million tons of unclaimed straw. As a rule, it disposed directly in the field (in the best case are incorporated, in the worst - burn). Straw has a lot of use cases, however, it is of interest to us as a fuel. Straw usually has a relatively low relative moisture (usually - not more than 25%) and a high combustion heat: wheat straw - 17 ... 18 MG/kg, rape straw - 16 ... 17 MG/kg, corn - about 18 MG/kg. However, straw has a relatively low density, so its transportation over large distances can be profitable only in pressed form. Fortunately, straw is well granulated and briquetted well. In pressed form it can be submitted in boilers automatic systems, therefore, is a high-quality and convenient local fuel with a relatively low price. For this reason, straw using as a raw material for the production of fuel pellets and briquettes is profitable and promising business.

But straw use isn't limited to it. Use of the Unit of drying-crushing of series АS-4 at straw processing in granules (pellets) leads to almost full sterilization of straw. Besides, absorbing properties of straw considerably increase in such kind. If to use such granules as a laying at cultivation of young growth of a bird, risks of diseases of baby birds essentially decrease, death rate decreases. Hence, profitableness of business increases. The given properties of the straw granules received with use of Unit AS-4, do by their best kind of a laying at cultivation of young growth of a bird.

We already make the equipment of two factories on manufacture of granules of straw. The first is in Vodjanoye of the Shpoljansky region Cherkassk area of Ukraine (more in detail), the second – in v. Borodichi of the Zelvensky region Grodno area of Belarus.

On page "Video" it is possible to watch a film about manufacture of granules from straw on the equipment made by us.

Raw materials

Woodwaste

Sawdust, wood chips, waste of plywood production, slabs, rods, trimmings, balance sheets, bark. 1. What today represent a wood waste for the majority of timber processing enterprises? 1.1. This is the main type of products, because usually more than 50% of the initial quantity of raw materials goes in the waste.

Peat

Peat is money. Under your feet. A Lot Of. It Very Much! Peat - fuel minerals, formed in the process of dying and incomplete decomposition of marsh plants in humidity conditions and limited access of air.

Lignin

Lignin is a complex organic natural polymer, in the base of the lignin formula is the benzene ring. Lignin is located in the outer layers of the cell membranes of the wood mainly. This fact explains its name, from the Latin Lignum - tree wood. Deposition of lignin in the cell walls of plants leads to an increase in their strength and lignifications. Lignin is an amorphous substance of yellow-brown color; insoluble in water and organic solvents.

Husk

Husks (husk) - outside the shell plant seeds. The best known is the husks received when shelling seeds of sunflower, rice, buckwheat. It has various applications in agriculture as an additive in animal feed, as a component in the manufacture of substrate for mushrooms cultivation, in hydrolysis industries for production of alcohols and fodder yeast.

Grass

If we consider the grass as raw materials for the production of feed of farm animals, the grass is a mass of freshly cut stems, leaves and buds herbal plants. In this connection mown grass in agriculture is often called the mass of green.

Sapropel

Sapropel - muddy humus deposits of plant and animal origin at the bottom of the closed freshwater (marshes, lakes), containing a large amount of organic substances in a colloidal state.
