Sapropel - muddy humus deposits of plant and animal origin at the bottom of the closed freshwater (marshes, lakes), containing a large amount of organic substances in a colloidal state. Sapropel has many applications in agriculture it is used as a fertilizer and as a mineral additive to fodders in medicine use for applications in medicine, mud baths. In dried and granulated form of sapropel can be transported over long distances. As is known, in Western Europe over the centuries of the agricultural activities of human soil fertility catastrophically falls. There is a huge shortage of arable land. For this reason declared the need of the European states in sapropel - more than 7 000 000 tons per year. In Russia the demand is lower, but also very significant. Known demand for granulated sapropel - more than 260 000 tons per year. Thus, drying, and granulation sapropel can be a very profitable business.

Lignin
