The annual Spring International Biofuel Congress St.-Petersburg, Russia
Traditionally the Congress proceeds 3 days, and the Congress program includes 2 conferences:
- Business conference "Warmly from a waste. Modern technologies of use of a biomass for manufacture of thermal and electric energy”
- Business conference “The fuel pellets. Russia and the World”.
Participants:
Operating and future manufacturers of fuel granules and briquettes, manufacturers and suppliers of the equipment and technologies, the engineering companies, the companies of forest and woodworking branches, the enterprises for manufacture and processing of agricultural production, the company of power sector, investors, representatives of local and regional administrations, the federal ministries and departments and so on. In total, as a rule, more than 250 participants.
About the Congress.
The spring International Biofuel Congress in St.-Petersburg – the leading business focused action for biofuel firm on the post-Soviet territory. The conferences entering into the program of the Congress are spent annually with 2005. Since 2007, they are united under mark «Spring Biofuel Congress» («SBC»). For the last years the biofuel branch in our country has got stronger, and the conferences from year to year spent within the limits of the Spring Biofuel Congress have deserved reputation as meeting place of leading experts of branch, businessmen, investors, suppliers of the equipment, buyers and sellers of fuel pellets and briquettes. At these conferences suppliers of the equipment represent new technological decisions, on SBC by tradition there are the most interesting and rough discussions about a condition and prospects of the market of biofuel. In 2007 during the Congress has passed constituent assembly «National Biopower Commonwealth». For the last years in the conferences included in program of SBC, representatives more than 500 organizations from more than 25 countries have taken part.
More often the Congress passes in a hotel complex Park-Inn "Pulkovsky" on the Pobedi Square, on entrance to St.-Petersburg from the airport of Pulkovo, Moscow and Kiev.
