Beer pellet - the by-product of the brewing industry received in the course of production of a mash from barley and malt. The share of a beer pellet in the total amount of waste of brewing production reaches 80%. In Russia – more than 400 breweries, and annually 1 brewery of average power "makes" to 35 000 tons of a beer pellet. The beer pellet is high-quality protein feed for many species of agricultural animals, is used in the confectionery industry and other branches. But despite all the useful properties, the fresh beer pellet practically isn't used. It is caused by two main reasons:

1 . The damp beer pellet isn't subject to storage since very quickly turns sour. Example: at a temperature of 15 … 300 C. about term of its storage makes no more than 74 hours. Besides, at storage of a crude beer pellet the pathogenic microflora quickly breeds in it.
2 . The crude beer pellet contains to 80% of water therefore its transportation in such view of long distances is economically inexpedient.

Sale of a fresh beer pellet to the nearby agricultural enterprises has unsystematic character, and the price is symbolical. Why it occurs? Because if you will not sell it, - you can not simply thrown out it, and you must utilize it (the cost of placement of 1 m3 of a beer pellet on the range reaches in certain cases 100 rubles). It also occurs from mostly beer pellet at absence at brewery of technology of its processing. For these reasons the question of processing of a beer pellet costs very sharply.

During the drying and a granulation the beer pellet turns into highly liquid goods, processing thus is highly profitable business which can be independent.

As the beer pellet has very high initial humidity, one of the most important questions of processing of a beer pellet is its power effective drying.

Straw

Straw - dry stems of plants, as a rule, exempt from the leaves, flowers and seeds. Straw for transportation, storage and further use is pressed by special machines in rolls or bales. By sustenance it’s considerably inferior to the hay.

Lignin

Lignin is a complex organic natural polymer, in the base of the lignin formula is the benzene ring. Lignin is located in the outer layers of the cell membranes of the wood mainly. This fact explains its name, from the Latin Lignum - tree wood. Deposition of lignin in the cell walls of plants leads to an increase in their strength and lignifications. Lignin is an amorphous substance of yellow-brown color; insoluble in water and organic solvents.

Husk

Husks (husk) - outside the shell plant seeds. The best known is the husks received when shelling seeds of sunflower, rice, buckwheat. It has various applications in agriculture as an additive in animal feed, as a component in the manufacture of substrate for mushrooms cultivation, in hydrolysis industries for production of alcohols and fodder yeast.
